According to the notification, Tariq Rahman, BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury have been invited to the National Prayer Breakfast. The BNP Secretary General received the invitation letter on Friday (January 10). The National Prayer Breakfast organized by the US Congressional Congress will be held on February 5-6 in Washington DC.
Incidentally, the National Prayer Breakfast is an annual event held in Washington DC, USA. It is usually held on the first Thursday of February. The founder of this program was Abraham Vereday. The event is actually a series of meetings, lunches and dinners.
About 3,500 guests attend the National Prayer Breakfast annually. Among them are invited guests from more than 100 countries. This annual event addresses important contemporary issues including prayer, politics and business.
