Workshop on 'Scouting Awareness through Social Media' in Gazipur

A day-long "Scouting Awareness through Social Media" workshop was started at the National Scout Training Center, Mouchak, Gazipur, under the management and direction of the Public Relations and Marketing Department of Bangladesh Scouts, with the participation of Rover Scouts and Adult Leaders.

On Saturday, April 26, 35 Rover Scouts and Adult Leaders from all over the country participated in this day-long workshop.

Rifat Afsana, Joint Convener of the National Sub-Committee on Research and Evaluation of Bangladesh Scouts, was present as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the program. Md. Alamgir Kabir Abir, Director of Scouting Awareness through Social Media and Joint Secretary of the National Sub-Committee on Public Relations and Marketing, presided over the program.

Other officials present at the event included Social Media Expert Apu Zaman, Social Media Expert Erfan Bappi, National Sub-Committee Member Md. Harun Or Rashid, National Sub-Committee Member Md. Saiful Islam Robin, National Sub-Committee Member Md. Ziaul Huda Himel, ALT, Advocate Md. Awlad Hossain Maruf, Rover Tamim Hasan, and others. Bangladesh Scouts Deputy Director Paresh Chandra Barman is responsible for the overall coordination.
