Shakib's bowling is banned in international cricket

Shakib Al Hasan has been banned from bowling in international cricket after failing the bowling action test for the second time in a row. Shakib will not be able to bowl in international cricket until he passes. For now, you can play as a batter in all types of domestic and international cricket.

This information was informed in a circular sent to the media by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Sunday (January 11).

Shakib underwent a bowling action test at the Biomechanics Lab of the ICC-affiliated Sri Ramachandra University in Chennai, India. He also failed to pass that exam.

It is known that Shakib's elbow broke at 25 degrees or more during the bowling test in Chennai. However, according to ICC rules, a bowler can bend his elbow up to a maximum of 15 degrees.

However, if he wants, Shakib can sit for the bowling action test at any time. But even if it passes, there will be a risk of calling no ball. If the umpire calls no, he will be banned for one year. And this time the world's best all-rounder can't take any test. Shakib is also not included in the team for the Champions Trophy due to not being able to pass the test to improve his bowling action.

It is to be noted that while playing the county, Shakib came under the suspicion of Wales Cricket Board (ECB). After that, he first took the bowling action test at Loughborough University in England, but could not pass the test. He failed for the second time.
