Police rescued the child early on Friday (April 18) and returned the mother back to the mother. Recently, such incidents have arisen in the area of Pundura Shewalat in Madhupur municipality of Tangail.
Family and police sources said that Labani Akhter Lisar, daughter of Liton Mia of Gopalpur upazila, was married two years ago with the son of Azam Ali of Pundura Shewatla area of Madhupur Upazila municipality. Shortly after the marriage, the husband's disappointment began with them. In the meantime, a son was born in their family six months ago.
Labani's husband Rabiul Islam said, "After the birth of the baby, peace comes down to the world. Labani took my son's house to Bhuapur a few days ago. After a few days he asked to come home, he abused and informed that he would no longer family."
He also said that after a few days, the boy's grandfather is ill, bring the boy to the boy, he wants to see the grandfather. He did not come back. Later on Thursday, I received news of the child's sale. Tactically, he was called from Bhuapur to Pakutia and brought him home. Then he admits to sell the boy. The child was then rescued and returned to the police.
The mother of the child said, "My head was not right. On April 10, with the help of a man named Monir, I sold the boy to a man in Sirajganj for Rs. With that money I bought mobile, toe nupur and nose. It's been my mistake. I sold my child, I repent.
Madhupur Police Station Officer -in -Charge (OC) said. Imranul Kabir said that a mother named Labani had sold her 6 -month -old child last Thursday, her husband informed us. Later, a team of police raided the child and rescued the child on Friday morning to the family.
