Community Health workers are waiting for pay

There are about 3,000 community clinics across the country. In remote areas, the process of expanding this service is underway. About 8,000 community health care provider has not been able to get eight months of salary since June last year due to lack of Operation Plan (OP) approval Many people are living a human life by this. Yet the service is not closed. These healthcare providers are worried about when to pay. However, the government has informed that the community clinic is being included in the revenue secmonths 

As a result, they will get 6 months of salary together. They also agitated on the highway demanding job revenue In the 5th, a plan was taken to set up a community clinic to ensure quality primary health care of rural poor and underprivileged. The goal was to deliver primary health care at the doorsteps of rural people with the participation of the people. It is a priority program through which the poor and disadvantaged rural people of the country are getting integrated health, family planning and nutrition services from the nearest community clinic.

 This is an program implemented in the joint effort of the people and the government. At present, there are a total of 5,220 community clinics in the country. CHCP provides primary health care to the common people in these clinics. There are about 3,000 workers across the country. They are not getting paid for 6 months 

Earlier, 20 types of drugs were provided from the community clinic. Now 22 types of drugs are being given. Antibiotics have been excluded from there. High blood pressure and diabetes drugs are also being given from some community clinics. According to the new plan, the patient's referral will start from here. Two doctors will also sit two days a week. 

"We are in a difficult situation," Dipan Chandra Das, a CHCP of a community clinic in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria, told the Bangla Tribune. Due to lack of salary, it is very difficult to go through. I am serving in it too. There is a lot of trouble going with the family.

 It is not possible to say how long the loan is to go, Similarly, thousands of CHCPs filed five writ petition in the High Court in 20 and 28. Of these, 5 were ruled in favor of the CHCP. Later, the state party appealed to the Appellate Division against 12 of these verdicts. Later, the cases came to the full bench of the Appellate Division through the Chamber Court. The hearing of those appeals was on March 7, 2012, under the Ministry of Health Care Provider.
