Train movement all over the country, passengers suffer

Trains are stopped across the country due to the run of the Railway Running Staff. Trains have been stopped on various routes, including Dhaka, since midnight on Monday. The passengers suffer.

In the morning, many passengers were seen waiting for the train at Kamalapur station in the capital. Many of them did not know about the train stopping. Many passengers at the station were seen to get the news of the train at around 8am. Many people left the station without knowing the train would not run. However, the elderly and women have been seen waiting at the station.

Passengers have been reported to be waiting at the station at various places including Rajshahi, Chittagong, Khulna, Panchagarh, Dinajpur. Many have started traveling in alternatives

Running Staff has been protesting for a long time demanding pension and anesthesia by adding runing allows to the original salary. The Railway Running Staff and Workers' Union Union gave a press conference at the old railway station in Chittagong on Wednesday. Otherwise, they announced that the railway would be stopped from January 25.

These runing staff are Guard, Train Driver (Locomaster), Assistant Driver and Ticket Inspector (TTE). They usually serve on the train for a long time. If they work for more than eight hours daily, they will get extra money as basic salary. In addition, after retirement, the basic money would be calculated by adding 5 percent of its money.
