The results of the MBBS admission test for public and private medical colleges for the 2024-25 academic session were published on Sunday. A total of 60,095 candidates passed, achieving a pass rate of 45.62%. The results were made available after 4:00 pm, according to a notification from the Ministry of Health.
The notification also revealed that 135,665 applications were submitted online for this year’s MBBS admission test. Of these, 131,729 candidates appeared for the exam. Among the successful candidates, 22,159 were male (36.87% of those who passed) and 37,936 were female (63.13%). The highest score achieved in the exam was 90.75.
A total of 5,380 candidates will be admitted to government medical colleges, while 6,293 students will be admitted to 67 authorized private medical colleges. The admission period for selected students at government medical colleges will be from February 2 to 8. An online application notice for admission to private medical colleges will be published on January 23.
