Saif Ali Khan who got stabbed on January 16 at his house during an attempt to robbery, had been recuperating in the hospital. The actor underwent a surgery at Lilavati hospital and a 2.5 inch spine was removed from his spine. His doctors had informed the media, that while he's out of danger now, he will be kept in the hospital as he needs rest for few more days and supervision from the doctors
Now Saif's spokesperson has informed ETimes, that the actor will be discharged from the hospital today (January 21), afternoon. The doctors will decide now on the duration of the rest he needs for the next few days to completely recover. "As for the duration of rest the actor needs to take it is learnt that the doctors will be deciding after the final examination before discharge," said the person.
Saif's statement is also likely to be taken once the actor gets discharged. The actor was taken to the hospital in an auto-rickshaw and now according to a report by News24, he has been rewarded with Rs 11,000 by an institution.
