Relatives and locals held a human chain and broom procession demanding the arrest and trial of those involved in the murder of housewife Lamia Akhter Fiza (21) in Fatullah. On Thursday (March 27) morning, they formed a human chain in front of the Narayanganj Press Club and demanded exemplary punishment for the criminals. In the human chain, locals alleged that journalist Billal Hossain Robin alias Cocktail Robin, an accused in the 6 student-crowd murder case during the anti-discrimination movement, is a friend of cadre terrorist Chunnu, one of the accused in the murder case of Shamim Osman. Both of them are accused in the anti-discrimination student-crowd murder case. Shamim Osman's two terrorists Cocktail Robin and Chunnu are investing huge money together to cover up the murder case of housewife Lamia. If these two terrorists are arrested quickly, it will be possible to quickly bring all the accused in the Lamia murder to justice. They demanded that Cocktail Robin, the accused in the Chhatra-Janta 6 murder case who posed as a journalist, be immediately expelled from the Narayanganj Press Club.

Lamia's father and the plaintiff in the case, Mir Mohammad Ali, said, "The accused in the murder case of my daughter Lamia are trying to divert her with the help of Cocktail Robin, the accused in the student murder case, after coming out on bail. The main accused in the case are not being arrested. How can terrorists like Cocktail Robin and Chunnu roam freely in Narayanganj despite being accused in the anti-discrimination movement case? They are trying to ruin the case by taking a large sum of money from Cocktail Robin murder case accused Tofazzal. I will tell the administration, I want the terrorists Chunnu, Tofazzal, the main accused Munna, Aklima, Monu, Munni, Monir Hossain to be arrested. Three more murders have occurred at Fatullah Police Station. Within a few days of those incidents, the police have arrested the main accused. Lamia's elder brother Arafat Al Fahim said in the human chain, "Lamia was brutally murdered on January 2 by her husband Asaduzzaman Munna and his in-laws. To make it look like a suicide, they hung the body from the window grill of the house. But the autopsy report confirmed that she was strangled to death, so a case was filed at the police station. After this incident, all the accused fled. The police are unable to catch any of them. We demand their immediate arrest and maximum punishment."

Meanwhile, the locals and relatives of the victims held a sweep and shoe procession demanding the arrest and trial of all the accused, including Cocktail Robin and terrorist Chunna.

According to police and family sources, Lamia's body was found hanging from the window grill of her in-laws' house in Lamapara Nayamati area of ​​Fatullah on the night of January 2. At that time, her husband Asaduzzaman Munna and all the in-laws were in hiding. The relatives of the deceased alleged that Lamia was killed after she protested after learning about her husband's extramarital affair. The autopsy report on January 6 revealed that she was strangled to death. On January 7, Lamia's father Mohammad Ali filed a murder case against 12 people.
