Khilgaon fire under control after two hoursSeveral cylinder explosions were heardfire that broke out at a sawmill and spread to adjacent buildings in the Taltaola Chourasta area of Khilgaon, Dhaka, has been brought under control after over two hours.
The fire was reported around 7:30pm on Friday and was brought under control around 9:35pm by 10 firefighting units.Rashed Bin Khaled, duty officer at the fire service control room confirmed the matter.
Eyewitnesses reported that the fire spread from the sawmill to the adjacent garage, with several cylinder explosions heard during the incident.No casualties have been reported till the filing of the report at 10:23pm.The cause of the fire could not be confirmed yet
