Today is the night of the holy saban or the night of good fortune. The word saban 'body' in Persian means night, and 'Barat' means good luck. In Arabic says' Lilatul Barat
On the 7th of the month of Hijri year, the day of the month of Sha'ban is known as the night of good fortune to devout Muslims. On this night, the Great Allah opened the door of the last mercy for the servants. Friday night in Bangladesh is the holy body.

In many homes of the Holy Shabe, the home of halwa-bread is made and distributed among relatives, neighbors and poor. After dusk, many went to the cemetery and prayed for forgiveness of their souls.
On the occasion of the Holy Shabe, the Islamic Foundation organized various programs including Waz, Dua Mahfil, Holy Quran Tilawat, Hamd-Naat from this evening to deep night at the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque.
