The three-day long 16th 'Asia Pharma Expo' 2025 begins
The official opening of the three-day 16th Asia Pharma Expo 2025 was held today, February 12, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., at the prestigious Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Centre in Purbachal.

Zakia Sultana, Senior Secretary, Ministry of Industries, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, was the chief guest at the opening ceremony. Md Saidur Rahman – Secretary, Health Services Division, Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, Major General Md. Shameem Haidar – Director General, Directorate General of Drug Administration, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Bangladesh. Abdul Muktadir, President of the Bangladesh Pharmaceutical Industry Association and Chairman and Managing Director of Incepta Pharmaceuticals Limited delivered the inaugural speech. Abdul Muktadir highlighted the participation of a remarkable 800 companies from 32 countries, including major players like America, China, England, Germany, Malaysia, India, Thailand, Italy, Japan, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ireland, and Bangladesh. This arrangement includes pharmaceutical processing and packaging, biotech lab equipment, API manufacturing plants and machinery, pharmaceutical formulations, and contract manufacturing. By doing this, domestic and foreign entrepreneurs will learn about various types of modern technology equipment, parts and raw materials related to the pharmaceutical industry.The three-day Asia Pharma Expo will end on February 14. It will be open daily from 10 am to 6 pm to 6 pm. World-class medicines are now being produced in Bangladesh, and it is possible to meet 98% of the country's total domestic demand
