Donald Trump has taken office for the second term as the President of the United States. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman congratulated Donald Trump on his second term.

Meanwhile, the Saudi government is planning to invest at least 60 billion dollars in trade and investment in the United States during the four years of Trump's second term.

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman of Saudi Arabia announced this plan in a phone conversation with US President Donald Trump on Wednesday (January 22) night

According to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia, the prince congratulated Trump on behalf of his father, King Salman.

He also said that there are plans to increase Saudi Arabia's trade and investment with the United States to 60 billion US dollars in the next four years, which could be even more.

Earlier, after becoming president for the first time, Trump went to Saudi Arabia for his first foreign trip in 2017.

In Saudi Arabia, he attended several events in Riyadh with King Salman and the Crown Prince

At that time, the Saudi King awarded him the highest civilian honor of Saudi Arabia, the 'Collar of Abdul Aziz Al Saud'.

In 2019, there was an attack in Saudi Arabia. Saudi Arabia blames Iran for this attack.

The attacks cut Saudi crude oil production in half.

Trump could not give a strong response to this incident, saying that the Saudi prince complained. As a result, the warmth of Riyadh's relations with Washington declined. However, Trump's son-in-law Gerard Kushner's equity firm received a $200 million investment from Saudi Arabia
